What is the most beautiful thing we can ever see in our life? For me it is nature. Oceans, rivers, mountains, spring forests, grassy fields, flowers and animals. There are lots of wonderful landscapes on Earth, that are more shocking and awe-inspiring than everything that has ever been created by man.

Hi Javi! Let's start from the beginning. How did you first become a designer? I spent tons of hours making drawings, logos, posters, websites, 3D... all amateur level but with a passion to discover many design fields. I looked for a university with graphic design but only found industrial design engineer.

Hi Yaroslav! What's your toolkit to design, prototype, etc.? Even though occasionally I still use photoshop and illustrator, my main tool set includes: Balsamiq Mockups - For very rough wireframes. I think this is a pretty good tool to start with right after information architecture was decided on. It's fast, simple and clickable if needed.

Distributed teams - teams with 100% remote workers - are on the rise. Though how many times have you heard (or said) "I could never work remotely"? We're working remotely at UpLabs, and we've found that the real obstacle really is to unlearn the traditional 9-to-5 grind.

Hi Anders and Jack! So tell us, what is Isotope? Isotope is a high-end Android application which purpose is to make the studying of the periodic table of chemical elements more fun and interesting. Anders Bjarnle -  I've always loved the idea of how the periodic table works because it's a smart and obviously logic way of structuring up how all the elements work.

The main reason is website style which is always changing, and a sympathy for your project and your work. You guys rock! And when Matt asked to improve your project I agreed with no hesitation. 😊 Thanks! What was the most challenging part of the redesign? The most difficult thing was a grid system.

I usually code my interface when it requires direct interaction to be understood. How effective an interaction between the interface and a user is, that can only be seen only in real-life. So for real use cases I make a coded prototype, because it helps to illustrate my ideas to the team in a simpler and faster way.
