A few years ago, Atomic Design entered the scene and provided a more comprehensive grammar around design systems. Once Google unveiled Material Design in 2014, the concept of design systems had finally matured.

Over the last 6 years, the Noun Project community has built one of the biggest repositories of visual language in the world. And visual language matters, especially in times like these. Visuals can communicate an idea in a blink of an eye.
