Update: I actually received a message from Lars Cimber, VP of the mobile payment partner Unwire who worked with DOT on the mobile app April redesign (which I here did a redesign of) and this project led to a great conversation and even being published on Medium!

If you are a designer, engineer, or in any role that creates things, you probably hear a lot about "big data" and being "data driven." The assumption is that data equals insight and direction. But does it? Data, any data, in any amount brings with it problems that make it very dangerous to rely on alone.

I've read a lot of comparison articles about the two, but I don't think they really do Figma justice. Some of them briefly mention the team features, the browserness, the components, and constraints, but they don't really focus on how they're better than versions in Sketch.

The old "P" in the music service's logo was distinct and was not at all comparable to PayPal's like its new one pictured above (right.) It caused and still causes a lot of confusion among mobile users, since their apps began looking pretty similar after the logo was launched in October.
